Bam - i

Bam-i is one of the noodle dishes served when I was growing up. It is a combination of vermicelli and the egg noodles. If I am not mistaken, Bam-i was originated from Cebu. This dish have the same ingredients with other noodle dishes like Pancit Canton, Pancit Bihon, and Sotanghon Guisado, but the combination of egg noodles and vermicelli noodles makes this noodle dish very unique.
I made it last week for dinner. Have you ever had bam-i before?

This looks very much like Pancit Malabon because of the veggies.

I'm in Bohol and terribly missing pancit luglug, which looks very much like your bam-i. I'd like to try this, though. Will see if they have it here.

I love Bam-i, but I haven't tried cooking it yet. It's only my mom who prepares this dish during special occasions. Here's my FTF entry: http://www.delightmyappetite.com/2012/02/delicious-spam-musubi-from-mister-musubi/

Nakatikim na ata ako nito. Pero madalas bihon + canton ang niluluto samin.

Sorry naman sis. San ka sa Cebu? :)

Ah okay... Bam-I pala ang tawag sa ganon. Now I know! Si kuya madalas egg noodles + bihon, medyo mahirap kasi iluto ang sotanghon (based on our experience).

Hopping here from Food Trip Friday, my entry is posted here:
