my father didn't encourage us girls to eat gizzard when we were young..no idea why, but the men in my family ate them! lol. we cook them (and also other dishes) using sprite or 7-up, too! you just made me miss home... :)

thanks for linking up and sharing over at Food Friday, sis!

I'm the only one in my family who doesn't eat liver and gizzards. But we do have the same way of cooking adobo. :)

I remember when I was a kid, I used to get all the gizzards while my sister's on to liver. (Of course I love both now :-) ) Now I seldom buy these as my boys are not into the "art of guts" haha!
I will definitely try this one just for me :-) Looks YUM!

Dhemz I like this and we have gizzard here in the grocery store. It won't get hard if e-boil siya sa 7-up? I would try this I am now hungry ^_^

I've been meaning to cook this at home but I don't know how. Thanks for sharing your simple recipe. I'll look for chicken gizzards on my next visit to the grocery. Here's my FTF and FF entry: http://www.delightmyappetite.com/2012/02/eating-healthy-at-cafeteria-verde/

sarap ng gizzard na adobo... actually very good idea ang pag boil using sprite or 7-up. it will give you fairly sweet recipe nga swak sa panlasang pinoy...
