Ice Cream Cone Cake Pops

Last weekend I made some ice cream cone cake pops for my daughter's 6th birthday party at school. So instead of bringing some cupcakes or cake, I'd decided to go with ice cream cone cake pops. To be honest, I've never made this treat before. I'm glad it turns out really good!
Here's what you need:
- A box of cake mix (your choice of flavor)
- Chocolate frosting or Vanilla frosting
- White  Candy Melts
- Dark Chocolate Candy Melts
- Ice cream Cones
- Red Candies (Skittles/M&M) + (For the cherry)
- Sprinkles
1.First get all your ingredients together and make your cake
2.When it has cooled completely, crumble it up in a bowl.
3. Add in your frosting about 1/3 of a cup.
4. Mix it well.
5. Add candy inside the cones
6. Start rolling out your cake/frosting mixture. I used an ice cream scooper and rolled them out. Set them aside when they are all rolled out.
7. Melt white candy melts in the microwave for 30 seconds.
8. Dip the end of a cake ball into the melted white candy melts. This will act as a "glue" to keep pop and cone connected. Set aside until the candy melt sets for a few minutes.
9. It's time to start dipping the cake pop.
10. Dip the pop straight down into the melted chocolate and lift up.
11. Decorate the sides with sprinkles.
12. Melt chocolate candy melts in the microwave for 30 seconds.
13. Use a spoon and drizzle the chocolate melts onto the pops (like a hot fudge).  For the cherry on top, I used red skittles.

By the way, regarding your question on what my work is, I'm a medical transcriptionist. I used to work in our main office in Toronto, but I've been working from home ever since I moved to the US in 2011 ;)
