Blue Isle’s Mediterranean Yogurt Spreads

America has an obsession with cream cheese. From countless recipes shared on Pinterest to the popular Twitter #foodporn hashtag commonly linked to #creamcheese, there is no doubt that Americans love their schmear. However, America’s growing waistline has driven consumers to choose healthier alternatives to comfort food favorites. The Wall Street Journal coined ‘permissible indulgence’ as the big food industry buzzword for 2014. Popular examples of this phenomenon include gluten-free, Greek yogurt, kale chips, and quinoa cookies.

Keeping up with the demand and offering a healthy solution for cream cheese lovers with the added benefit of probiotics, Blue Isle’s Mediterranean Yogurt Spreads is the latest innovation to hit the dairy aisle this summer.
Blue Isle’s Mediterranean Yogurt Spreads offer nutritional balance and taste. These spreads are made from the healthy goodness of yogurt, including live cultures, probiotics, and calcium but with no added sugar. With only 60 calories and 6g of fat per 2 tbsp serving, Blue Isle is nearly 40% fewer calories and total fat than the leading cream cheese.
I was given the opportunity to sample five flavors of Blue Isle’s Mediterranean Yogurt Spreads : Blue Original, Honey, Blueberry, French Onion, and Spicy Vegetables. All flavors are so good, but my most favorite is the spicy vegetable yogurt spread. I love the hint of hot flavor with the healthy tang of red bell pepper and selected herbs. These spreads are perfect party dip that are great for any occasion! I can't wait to have my family and friends come over and try these newly launched yogurt spreads on Fourth of July.
The spreads can be used as an alternative to cream cheese spread, a dip, in cooking, mayo, sour cream and yogurt. So let the luscious taste of Blue Isle take you away. For more details or would like to order, you should visit blueislespread.com today! Blue Isle will be available throughout the US at Krogers, Harmon’s, Mollie Stones, Central Market, Fiesta Mart, The Fresh Market, New Seasons, H-E-B, Luckys, at natural food stores and better supermarkets nationwide. Suggested retail price is $3.29 for an 8 oz tub.

Oh boy! An answered prayer to my constant love-hate affair with cream cheese. I super love that it has 40% less calorie and loaded with probiotic and calcium?! Sounds too good to be true.

I know for sure that Yogurts is very healthy product. But I really hate the taste. Maasim. But my wife loves it.

They look like something my husband would love! :) I bet when I get some he'll open them immediately. I can imagine eating that bagel of yours with the spread. :D

We've tried this before and loved it! We always go for the french onion with crackers and plain cream cheese for bagels. The sweet variety just isn't something I go for when it comes to dipping it with crackers. I rarely use flavored cream cheese on a bagel.

Wow this would be good if paired with chips and crackers. Nom nom!

Yogurt spread, that's new, but because I love yogurt, I'd like to give this healthy spread a try, too!
