Rabbit Fish

In Cagayan de Oro City where I came from we call this fish ‘kitong’. I heard that in Luzon they call it Samaral, Danggit in Visayas and Kitong in Davao...waaaaaa...I'm confused! I believe they came from the same family. Help me out here....lol!
Anyhow, I bought a "fresh" kitong fish from Seafood City a week ago. Fresh? Well, that's what I saw on the label....I like it when it is fried. Have you ever had this fish before?

Dangit or Kitong is very yummy fish especially if it is dried fish. You can side dish it with kimchi radish and your full.
