I met my boyfriend not that long after I came to New York. He worked with my friend Dave at his office and he introduced us. After that things happened pretty quickly and we started dating. Now after two years we're getting ready to take a big step and move in together. We didn't exactly plan it, it's just that both of our leases were ending around the same time so we thought it might be a good idea.
So I've been doing a lot of apartment hunting with my clear Internet. We've found a few things that weren't quite right but our friend Dave's girlfriend actually suggested this one apartment that she knew of that was available in her building. We looked at it and it really does look perfect for us. It's in a good neighborhood and it's not that far away from my train stop. I think we're going to sign the lease for it next week.
We have really big plans for it. There's even a second bedroom that we're going to use as a study for now but I think it would make a great nursery in the future!
