Pulse Oximeter

A few years ago, my dad was diagnosed with diabetes. It was devastating when we found out about it. The doctor suggested that my father should treat his diabetes with a combination of a controlled diet and medication in the form of a pill. The doctor also stressed that he wanted my dad’s glucose reading at 120 or a bit lower. My dad also suffers from high blood pressure and high cholesterol. So it is very important that my family needs to monitor my father’s glucose levels. I am thinking of getting him a new pulse oximeter. A Pulse Oximeter is a versatile, mobile, non invasive medical instrument that indirectly measures the oxygen saturation in the blood. It is definitely a convenient replacement to the older procedure of oximeter that he is using to collect blood samples.
