I personally love funny shirts, mainly because they're pretty witty and also really simple. My husband has a few funny shirts in his closet. Last Father’s day, I got him a funny shirt that says “ynn nrn nn ndnnt! Would you like me to buy a vowel?”. He wore it one time, and a lot of people noticed it. Some folks said “Cool shirt! Where did you get that from?”. I think funny shirts are created to attract attention and make people laugh.
