Angel Food Cake | Loaf - Shaped

When it's strawberry season, I always make strawberry shortcake. And when I made some, I use a loaf-shaped angel food cake.

Have you ever had this before?

Angel Food cake, or Angel cake, is a type of sponge cake originally from North America that first became popular in the U.S. in the late 19th century. It is named because of its airy lightness that was said to be the "food of the angels."

I always associate loaf cake with banana cake or chiffon cake or marble cake. They look so appetizing and delicious. Thanks for the post. God bless you all always.
