Key Ingredient

I believe that marinating meat is one of the best ways to give it more flavor and to tenderize it at the same time. What is your key ingredient when you marinate meat? Well, mine is a cup of ALCOHOL. I use heineken beer most of the time. 
I read it somewhere that most of the alcohol content within the beer will burn off once you cook your steaks, meaning eating a few steaks will not get you drunk by any means. Trust me, it tastes even better!

I don't really drink alcohol, but my mom loves infusing her home-cooked dishes with some liquor.. :D

lots of chef cook used beer and wine as their secret ingredient and it's good, makapadli sd na ug pahumok baya and adds a good taste. ug makapahubog pa na siya ako sagulan akong tanan pagkaon ug beer ky gusto ko mahubog hehehehehehehe pero pangpalami ra mn na siya

I try to avoid alcohol because of the empty calories, but there are some kinds I do enjoy!

i haven't tried beer in meat marinade, i sometimes use Sprite or 7-Up. lemon or calamansi is my key ingredient.:p
