“What time is it?” When you ask someone this question you will most likely see them look at their phones, iPods, and other electronic gadgets to check for the time. This happens more often to the younger generation who, according to surveys, rely on their electronic gadgets to check for the time instead of a watch. Some of them would say that since their phones can also tell time, and even serve as an alarm clock, they are most likely use those functions instead of having a separate gadget like a watch just to able to tell the time.

Although a watch’s primary function is to tell time, it can mean a lot of things to other people and it could serve other purposes as well. A classic gold watch may serve as a family heirloom, one that is being passed from one generation to the next. For some it is a fashion accessory that can complement their whole outfit. Other watchmakers have added some useful functions in their watches such as heart rate monitors and GPS trackers. Citizen Eco drive watches uses a technology that harnesses the power from any natural or artificial light source and converts it to energy that is stored in its energy cell. There is no need to replace its battery since it recharges continuously to run forever. Watches are also excellent gifts which can be given on special occasions such as anniversaries and graduations.
